Cord textile(PES)

Polyester strapping is a modern type of material that combines the high strength of steel strapping
with the safety and elasticity of plastic strapping. At present, two main types of these straps are used
in industry: weldable polyester (PET) straps and polyester textile (PES) straps.

Polyester textile straps are suitable for strapping heavier items or for palletising. Our company
mainly distributes cross-woven polyester straps (see illustration), which, compared to standard bonded PES
straps, offer a higher load-bearing capacity, a longer service life and excellent resistance to longitudinal fraying.

Explanation of abbreviations:

LSW, NW

Light-duty straps

S

Super-strong tapes

EX, HD, GWS

Extra-super-strong

PB

Small roll (suitable for bagged waste cardboard)

Advantages of polyester textile strapping:

  • typically used with manual mechanical or pneumatic tensioners
  • the strap can be joined using self-locking wire clips or by tying the loose ends
  • High tensile strength (the only material with a tensile strength equivalent to that of steel straps)
  • thanks to their elasticity, they allow for strapping with greater pre-tension without damaging the edges of the packaged item
  • the straps are safe, have no sharp edges, do not fly off and absorb dynamic stresses well
  • They adapt to changes in volume combined with thermal stress
  • the joint formed using self-locking wire clips allows the joint to be retightened or the strap to be reused multiple times
  • They do not corrode and are resistant to most chemicals
  • low specific gravity
  • from an environmental perspective, the disposal of the straps is straightforward
  • Available in white as standard
  • The straps can be printed with information or your logo (minimum order: 2 pallets)
