- Lamination is used to enhance the appearance of printed materials and protect them
- It increases resistance to mechanical damage, moisture, and other environmental factors
- Base layer—typically BOPP laminating film (cheaper but softer) or PET laminating film; the second layer consists of a hot-melt adhesive based on ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA)
- BOPP laminating films are processed at temperatures ranging from 90 to 120°C; PET laminating films can be processed at temperatures up to 150°C (depending on the adhesive used)
- PET films are often used for double-sided lamination
- We offer films for thermal lamination (heat lamination) as well as for wet lamination (cold lamination using a dispersion adhesive)
Our selection of laminating films and pricing are available upon request.
